A mountain in China has been renamed in honor of the film Avatar.

This is not surprising given that Avatar is the most popular film in Chinese history! Formerly known as the column of the Southern Sky,"Hallelujah Mountain View"is situated in Zhangjiajie in Hunan province. Local authorities say the summit has been a source ofinspiration for the film, a photographer with a visit to Hollywood in 2008. It 'was one of several attempts to revive the local tourism inthe area of Zhangjiajie. In addition to the name change, offered toursof 'Avatar' the mountain and the local government has adopted theslogan "Pandora is out, but Zhangjiajie is close"to its website!
